Interesting "Nations" question
End of life care has become muddled in the hospitals of United Progressive Socialist States, and the practice of euthanasia has come under question. With many doctors advocating for the patient's right to end their own life, and many doctors advocating for the necessity of the hospital to do everything they can to prolong life, it does not seem that the medical community can find a middle ground, so they look to your for answers. Do you:
| | 1. Side with the doctors who want to prolong life at all costs and deny to allow citizens the practice of euthanasia? Life is a god-given gift and should be protected at all costs? |
| | 2. Agree that prolonging life should be the pursuit of the medical community, and advise hospitals to fight for the citizen's right to live and only allow citizens to die of natural causes or by natural means? |
| | 3. Do nothing? Even if the medical community cannot come to an agreement, citizens will quickly find out which methods certain doctors prefer, and will seek out those physicians when they need care! |
| | 4. Allow for euthanasia to be practiced by citizens who have life-threatening diseases, who are in pain, or who feel their life is no longer of quality due to any number of physical or mental ailments? |
| | 5. Allow any citizen the right to euthanasia at any point of their life and for any reason? |
Can you believe there actually is a large, anti-choice resistance in the United States in with views similar to the first choice on the question? So called "Pro-Lifers," and they're not joking about these kinda things, as funny, or sad, as it is.
I belong to the group that support views similar to the 2 bottom choices.
